என் இனிய தமிழ் மக்களே, இந்த குழந்தை பாட்டுக்கள் உங்களுக்காக,

அம்மா இங்கே வா வா
ஆ சை முத்தம தா தா
இலையில் ோறு போட்டு
எனக்கு கொஞ்சம ஊட்டு

நிலா நிலா ஒடி வா
நில்லாமல் ஒடி வா
மலை மேலே ஏறி வா
மல்லிகை பூ கொண்டு வா

Translation for non-Tamil folks

Amma come close to me,
Give me your sweet kiss
Put rice on the plantain leaf
feed me little by little

Moon moon come to me
Don't stop just come to me
cross the mountains come to me
Bring me jasmine when come

I am experimenting by writing tamil blogs using unicode, this is the first poem which came right on top of my head.. No tamilian would ever forget these Bharathiyar poems..
